Martha “Mat” Gandy
Martha was number five, born 1902 and twice married. Martha’s first marriage was to William “Bill” Fell in 1933.

FELL-GANDY – A quiet marriage was solemnized yesterday at the home of the Rev. Daniel Walker when Miss Martha Gandy of Victoria was united in marriage to Mr. William Fell of Vancouver BC. The bride was attended by Miss Violet Georgina Gandy and the bridegroom by Mr. E. H. Gandy. The young couple left on their honeymoon.”

Martha and Bill had two children, Richard Fell and Violet Fell. Dates of birth not known. In 1939, on the death of her mother Mary Cordelia, Martha and Bill resided in Vancouver.
Martha’s second marriage was to Wilfred Cecil Ball, her older sister Marguerite’s widower. Marguerite died in 1948. The date of Martha’s and Wilfred Cecil’s marriage is unknown to me. Wilfred died in 1959 and Martha on April 14th 1980, outliving Wilfred by over 20 years.
